3 layer silver brazing alloy foil with 49% Ag and a copper core to minimize cracks. Used specifically for brazing tungsten carbides on steel or stainless steel. Saw blades, drill bits, tools etc.
Meltolit 49 has excellent capillarity and offers the best performance of brazeability. High fluidity, low working temperature and good mechanical properties. The product is combined with “770 E special Flux”. Exists as foil or segments.
