Special hardfacing electrode with 170% recovery and a deposit composition of alloy C (Ni-Cr-Mo) + Co. Used to surface parts exposed to compression, corrosion, heat up to 800°C and thermal shocks. Surfacing on hot working tools, shear blades, deburring tools, swages, forging saddles, forging anf hot trimming dies, press tools and pump parts. More hot resistant than 7170 E due to the cobalt addition
